Time off in Belgium

Weekend in Brussels with my partner, tight schedule, lots to do. Fortunately, our hostess Sanna is an eminent planner, so we managed to see and do most of Brussels. Our cravings for Belgian chocolate got more than satisfied, and quite a few Pan de Chocolate got consumed.

Brussels is a beautiful and very diverse city. On one hand, there’s the older parts of the town which are really charming with narrow alleys, old houses, small cafe´s, and of course, chocolate stores everywhere. On the other hand there’s the EU quarters with sky scrapers and really modern architecture and lots of concrete. Whichever you prefer, there’s lots of it. Overall, Brussels is an amazing town and well worth wandering around in with a camera on your shoulder.
